Myrtis J AnlikerMyrtis J. Anliker, 80, of Francesville, passed away at 9:16 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.

Myrtis was born on March 9, 1935 in Francesville to the late John and Louise Tyler Anliker.

He married Phyllis Malchow on Oct. 7, 1956, in Francesville. She survives.

Anliker was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church. He was a lifelong farmer and owned Anliker Trucking. Over the years he also worked at Monon Trailer. Anliker enjoyed tinkering in his workshop. He loved his pets. Anliker was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a generous man and never knew a stranger. He will be dearly missed.

Additional survivors include: four sons: Richard (Jeannie) Anliker, Columbus, Ohio; Roger (Beverly) Anliker, Plainfield, Ill.; Randy (Amy) Anliker, Francesville; and Robin (Stacy) Anliker, Francesville; two daughters: Gwen (Larry) Kriss, Plymouth and Kim (Jeff) Smith, Orleans; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his father: John Edward Anliker; his mother: Louise Tyler Anliker; a granddaughter:
Jensen Anliker; and infant brother: John Edward Anliker.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Medaryville Christian Church, Medaryville, with Don Nedza officiating. Burial will take place in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Medaryville Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Medaryville Christian Church for the Family Night Program.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville.
