A trio of high school programs announced opportunities for the next wave of players get experience in a bigger arena.

Warsaw Softball

The Tiger softball program will be hosting a middle school callout for the 2021 fall school year. This will be geared for fifth through eighth graders for the 2021-22 school year.

The program will also host a Little Tigers clinic on Saturday, May 15, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the varsity diamonds.

Additionally, the team will host a Little Tiger Night on Tuesday, May 18, when the varsity plays Elkhart as a chance for the future to see the present. An autograph session will be held after the game.

Wawasee Softball

The Warrior program will be hosting batting and fielding sessions this summer for all middle and high school students. Led by varsity head coach Chloe McRobbie, the goals are to build strong foundations of softball skill, strength training and quality character traits in all players.

There will also be a high school summer league at the high school fields in the summer. To be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, anyone who will be in high school for the 2021-22 school year is invited to partake.

Wawasee Boys Basketball

Wawasee boys basketball is getting a jumpstart on the summer with a youth basketball camp and skills development session.

The half-day camp (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) includes breakfast and lunch for all campers and is geared for boys in second to eighth grade for the 2021-22 school year. The camp is June 1-4 and is $75 per camper, scholarships are available.

The camp provides competitions, games, overall skill development and program values taught by Wawasee varsity basketball coach Jon Everingham and his staff. For more information, contact Everingham via email.
