Two Dead After Airplane Crash In Bristol

BRISTOL — Two people are dead after an airplane crash in Bristol on Tuesday afternoon.

Around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, emergency personnel received a report about an airplane crashing in the 52000 block of CR 21 in Bristol. Initial responding officers located a small fixed wing aircraft in a wooded area. Preliminary investigation revealed two occupants in the aircraft were deceased.

Due to the preliminary nature of the investigation, no additional information has been released.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the following agencies: Elkhart County Coroner’s Office, Bristol Police and Fire Departments, Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
