Two Vehicle Accident Slows Traffic In Leesburg

LEESBURG — Shortly before noon Friday, May 10, a two-vehicle accident on SR 15 just north of CR 600N slowed the pace of drivers headed in both directions.

The collision involved a red Chrysler sedan and a dark Ford pickup truck, which also was towing a trailer carrying a small front-end loader. Both the Chrysler and Ford sustained heavy front end damage, although a sheriff’s deputy said no one had been transported to the hospital.The airbags in the Chrysler were fully deployed.

Leesburg-Plain Township Fire, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Lutheran EMS all responded to the scene.
