Pierceton — Despite wind Saturday, May 11, shops and vendors were busy during Destination Pierceton.

Destination Pierceton was held 12 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 10 and 10 a.m. to 4p.m. Saturday, May 11. Destination Pierceton is held during the second weekend of May.

According to Pierceton Chamber of Commerce President Kelsea DaGaetano, Friday started well, but some outside vendors had to close early Saturday due to the wind. Despite the wind Saturday, she said many of Pierceton’s shops were seeing foot traffic and that the online auction was going well.

Visitors also had a chance to see items in person for the Destination Pierceton online auction, to benefit the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce, donated by local vendors. Most items for the online benefit auction will be available to bid on until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16.
