WINONA LAKE — The Joe’s Kids annual Golf Scramble will be held Tuesday, June 18, at Stonehenge Golf Club.
The entry fee is $500 per four-person team, which covers lunch, greens fee and golf cart. Check-in/lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the scramble will begin at 1 p.m.
To register, go online to joes-kids.org.
Also planned is a helicopter ball drop on the 18th fairway. You can purchase a ball for $25, and the balls will be dropped at about 12:45 pm. The ball closest to the hole will win $500. You can purchase balls on the registration page; you do not have to play golf to purchase a ball for the ball drop, and you do not have to be present to win.
“We are happy to announce that Instrumental Machine & Development is returning as our exclusive title sponsor for this event,” said Rebecca Bazzoni, executive director of Joe’s Kids. “Our friends at IMD believe in our mission and understand our dedication and passion for serving our children.”
Proceeds from the Golf Scramble support ongoing therapy services for the children at Joe’s Kids. Joe’s Kids is a nonprofit organization that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy along with dyslexia and tutoring services for children with special needs or developmental delays.
