ALBION — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced SR 9 will be closed on or after Tuesday, May 28 closure for bridge construction.
Crews will be completing a thin deck overlay between SR 9 and SR 3. Work on the project is expected to last for approximately two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of SR 9, US 6 and SR 3, or week an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
