ELKHART — The Friends of The Lerner has announced the return of the Lerner on the Lawn series for 2024 on the Central Green in Downtown Elkhart in partnership with ArtWalk. Lerner on the Lawn saw its inaugural year in 2022 with great success, drawing hundreds to the Central Green for a free, live concert each month during Elkhart ArtWalk.
Presented by the Friends of The Lerner, the Community Foundation of Elkhart County and the City of Elkhart, this series brings free, diverse entertainment to the entire community on the last Thursday of every month from June to October, in conjunction to ArtWalk in Downtown Elkhart. The mission to bring arts and entertainment to the community is thriving with this partnership between the Friends of The Lerner and ArtWalk, as they team up to bring this monthly event to our community.
ArtWalk kicks off at 5:00 p.m., followed by Lerner on the Lawn at 6:00 p.m. on the Central Green in Downtown Elkhart. Thursday, June 27: Simply Swifties
An immersive tribute from New York focuses on Taylor Swift’s artistry, songwriting and style which have influenced the music industry, popular culture and more. Swift has over 52 Grammy nominations and at the 2024 Grammy Awards, she made history again as she took home album of the year, making her the only artist to ever win album of the year four times.
This tribute show is brought to you by Edvin Ortega Productions and the team behind the Larger Than Life: The Ultimate Boyband Tribute.
Swifties can expect a lot of high energy and crowd interaction as they sing and dance with songs like Cruel Summer, I Knew You Were Trouble, Ready For it, You Belong With Me, Love Story, Lover, Wildest Dreams, Anti-Hero, Shake It Off and more!
Thursday, July 25: Nashville Crush

Get ready to dance to the timeless classics of the disco era with this band who will transport you back in time with their authentic sound, channeling the energy and excitement of 70’s. Grab your friends, put on your most fabulous disco attire and join for a night of shimmering lights, infectious grooves and endless summer vibes at August’s Lerner on the Lawn.
Thursday, Sept. 26: Memphis Underground
“Memphis Underground” is an energetic and entertaining 7 piece band. They play a mixed groove of blues, motown, rock and funk, mixed with current music. The combination of soulful and gritty vocals, passionate guitar and rocking saxophone, make for a great night of music to remember.
Thursday, Oct. 31: LOUDERNOW
LOUDERNOW is an emo/pop punk cover band based out of Chicago. Performing all over the Midwest, LOUDERNOW will bring you back to the glory days of skinny jeans, studded belts, eyeliner, band shirts, Vans and screaming along to all of your favorite emo and pop-punk songs.
