LIGONIER — A Kimmell woman was arrested for allegedly possessing fentanyl while being searched at the Noble County Jail.
Lindsey Palos, 27, 6600 W. Cromwell Road, Kimmell, is charged with possession of a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony.
On May 4, a Ligonier Police officer took Palos into custody after she allegedly violated a protective order.
According to court documents, while at the Noble County Jail, jail staff found fentanyl on Palos’ person.
Palos’ charge was enhanced since she did not alert officers to having drugs on her person prior to being brought into the jail.
Palos has been released on bond.
