WARSAW — Work will soon begin on Park Avenue for stormwater improvement.
This project is part of the City’s ongoing sewer maintenance and rehabilitation program.
The project includes removing several old structures and improving the system with the placement of fewer new structures, going from eight structures to two. The project also includes placing a structural liner through the primary storm pipe along Park Ave from Main Street to Center Street.
NIPSCO gas utility will complete some relocation and system improvements ahead of the City project. NIPSCO’s work is expected to be performed June 6 through July 11.
During NIPSCO’s work, Park Avenue, between Main Street and Center Street, will be closed. Alley approaches will also be closed. All residents will have access to their driveways and parking throughout the project. Motorists should utilize alternate routes.
Following NIPSCO’s work, the City’s portion of the project will begin.
