UPDATE: Pierceton Man Flown After Wreck West Of Warsaw

WARSAW — A Pierceton man was flown to Fort Wayne after being involved in a motorcycle wreck west of Warsaw on Friday, May 31.

According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office report, Shane C. Reiter, 51, North Lakeridge Drive, was taken to a Lutheran hospital after the wreck occurred at 3:47 p.m.

The report also stated that Ellen L. Wolff, 66, West John Road, Warsaw, was traveling southbound on CR 350W near John Road in a gray 2020 Buick Encore. Reiter was traveling northbound on CR 350W in the same area on a black 2006 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softtail Classic.

Wolff didn’t see Reiter’s motorcycle while turning left, causing a collision. Reiter was ejected from the vehicle.

He had incapacitating injuries, including a fracture/dislocation.

Damage was estimated up to $25,000.
