ANSWER: RICK GLASS
Glass has been employed as a teacher in Kosciusko County since 2004. He began as a student teacher at Eisenhower Elementary where he was later hired as a long-term substitute teacher. He was then offered a position teaching fourth grade at Harrison Elementary beginning with the 2005-2006 school year. He also coached soccer at Harrison for 10 years. During that time, his teams won five city championships, going undefeated in three of those seasons. In addition, he sponsored a Robotics Club during his time at Harrison Elementary and was involved with astronomy clubs. He is currently employed at Claypool Elementary, working with students who struggle with math and reading. He and his wife, Deb, do action photography for the Lake City Skiers. They have five children, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren — with more on the way.
