WARSAW — An electrical fire has occurred at Danco Medical in Warsaw.
First responders were called out to the medical device finishing company at 905 Executive Drive, at 11:52 a.m. Thursday, June 13.
As of 12:50 p.m. crews were still on scene.
Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Chris Francis, speaking on behalf of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, said the fire “potentially involved hazardous materials.”
The Elkhart Fire Department hazmat team was called out to the fire. As of 12:50 p.m. no Danco employees or first responders were injured.
Also responding to the scene were the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Lutheran EMS and Winona Lake Fire Department.
