Akron Man Flown From Single-Vehicle Accident West Of Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE — An Akron man was flown from a single-vehicle accident west of Silver Lake on Monday night.

At 9:50 p.m. Monday, June 17, emergency personnel responded to a vehicle accident on CR 600W, south of SR 14.

According to information from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Jacob L. Eherenman, 22, Akron, was traveling north on CR 600W in a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. He was unable to maintain his lane of travel for an unknown reason, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and hit a tree.

Eherenman was flown to Lutheran Fort Wayne and his current condition is unknown.
