WARSAW — Those who cannot make it to the upcoming Juneteenth Celebration in Warsaw are asked to let organizers know as there’s a waitlist.
The event is at 800 N. Park Avenue, Warsaw, from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, June 22, and features food and activities.
Keynote speaker Count US IN Founder and CEO Jalyn Radziminski will speak about Black and disability voting rights. Queenetta Young will talk about what Juneteenth means to families in Warsaw.
The event will also have a voter registration table.
Additional notes for accessibility and safety:
- Count US IN representatives kindly ask you to remain home if you are sick. Rapid tests and masks will be available at this event.
- Due to allergic sensitivities, refrain from using cologne and perfume to avoid triggering allergic reactions.
- Count US IN representatives will provide stickers with name tags at the event. Green means, “I’m comfortable with hugs and closeness.” Yellow means, “Ask me what I am comfortable with.” Red means, “Please give me space.”
