WARSAW — Main Street Warsaw’s June Third Friday will include motorcycles, circus artifacts and more.
MSW Supporter Relations Manager Scott Wiley said the event on Friday, June 21, is running from 4-7 p.m. to allow people to head to the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department’s Rockin’ For Riley Concert featuring Everclear at Central Park at 8 p.m.
Everclear will be preceded on stage by The Michael Weber Show at 6:30 p.m.
Wiley said the Kosciusko County Historical Society is having an open house related to its current circus exhibit at the Old Jail Museum. There will be other circus activities like related food, face painting, a calliope and games.
The open house runs from 5-9 p.m.
“A local (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) group is doing a tiny tots riding experience where kids can come and actually ride a real motorcycle,” said Wiley of downtown activities. “There’s an obstacle course with minibikes and there’s food trucks and there’s live music and market vendors. It’s going to be fantastic.”
Wiley also noted people may take part in an interactive art project via the Warsaw Public Arts Commission. The final project done by artist Gail Christofferson involving glass panels will be installed later in Central Park.
“I just hope people come down and drink plenty of water and just enjoy the night,” said Wiley.
