GREENSBURG — A Honda facility has been accused of violating worker rights by illegal union-busting.
The National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint on Tuesday, June 18, claiming Honda was interfering with, restraining and coercing employees in the exercise of rights guaranteed in Section 7 of the Act in violation of Section 8(a)(1) of the Act.
The Complaint and Notice of Hearing claims that the facility:
- Instructed employees to remove union bumper stickers.
- Threatened employees with discipline if they supported the union.
- Engaged in surveillance of employees to discover their union and protected activities.
A Honda spokesperson denies the claims and says the company “looks forward to a hearing.”
