WARSAW — A downtown Warsaw barbershop has received some financial help for building repairs after a 2022 fire.

Main Street Warsaw presented Bar’lon Haircuts for Men owner Crystal Lemler with a $10,000 facade grant on Wednesday, June 26. The grant reimburses Lemler and her husband, Isaac Lemler, operating as Lemler Land Holdings, for part of the cost of fixing up their building containing the barbershop at 215 E. Center St., Warsaw, including the apartments above it.

“It’s awesome,” she said of getting monies for the fix-up. “We decided to add the balconies because we qualified for the facade grant … (which) just gives it more of a downtown feel because of that.”

“It was a really cool thing for them to give us this grant so we could do that,” added Lemler.

Bar’lon offers a variety of hairstyling services for men, with a list found at crystalsbarlon.com. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
