WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was arrested for allegedly head-butting a man while he held a child.
Jasmine Marie Fitzpatrick, also known as Jasmine Marie Hunt, 31, 201 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 years of age present and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, both level 6 felonies; and domestic battery and resisting law enforcement, both class A misdemeanors.
On June 4, Warsaw Police officers responded to a domestic complaint at a residence. A man said Fitzpatrick hit him while he was holding a child.
According to court documents, the man said he and Fitzpatrick had a verbal argument which turned physical. Fitzpatrick allegedly head-butted the man in the mouth. Officers noticed the man had an injured lip.
Fitzpatrick denied any physical altercation happening. When officers told Fitzpatrick she was going to jail, she fell to the ground and cried hysterically. She pulled away from officers and attempted to run down a hallway.
Fitspatrick has already been arrested and released on bond. She has an initial hearing at 1 p.m. July 26, in Kosciusko Superior Court Two.
