WARSAW — A Warsaw woman with several suspensions on her driving record was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.

Gabriella Reagan Padilla, 25, 755 N. Zimmer Road, Warsaw, is charged with operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.15 or more and driving while suspended prior, both class A misdemeanors; and operating a vehicle with an ACE of 0.15 or more with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.

On June 16, an Indiana State Police trooper was patrolling on Center Street in Warsaw when he saw a vehicle traveling 40 mph in a 35-mph zone. The trooper pulled the vehicle over and identified its driver as Padilla.

According to court documents, the trooper smelled alcohol and Padilla said she drank a couple of shots. The trooper also learned Padilla’s driving license status was suspended prior.

Padilla failed three field sobriety tests and tested 0.15% BrAC on a certified chemical breath test.

Padilla was previously convicted of OWI in Kosciusko County in February 2022. She also has three indefinite suspensions on her driving record. The suspensions are for a no-insurance accident, failure to file insurance, and failure to appear for a driver safety program.

Padilla has a prior judgment against her for driving while suspended in Kosciusko County, with the judgment entered in March 2023.

Padilla has an initial hearing at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
