WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools recently announced that Caleb Smith, a senior at Warsaw Community High School, was recognized as one of the top 40 Indiana Academic All-Star Seniors at the Academic All-State Recognition Ceremony in Indianapolis on April 24.

This event, organized by the Indiana Association of School Principals, spotlights the state’s foremost academic talents among high school seniors.

Now in its 38th year, the Academic All-State program honors high school seniors who excel academically and also significantly contribute to their schools and communities through leadership roles. Out of 281 exceptional nominees from Indiana’s private and public accredited schools, 40 were distinguished as Indiana Academic All-Stars, with Smith among this elite group.

Smith stood out for his remarkable dedication and academic achievements. Accompanying Smith at the ceremony were his family, counselors, and Principal Troy Akers, who all have supported Smith throughout his academic journey.

“Caleb Smith is an outstanding member of the Class of 2024,” said Akers. “This young man will enter Purdue University with an astounding number of college credits. I’m very proud of his efforts and being named as one of the top 40 seniors across the state of Indiana is a remarkable achievement.”
