PIERCETON — A Pierceton man was arrested after allegedly battering a woman.
Zenal Abdeen Ibrahim Al Soudani, 27, 3020 E. Wooster Road, Pierceton, is charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On May 5, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a report of a woman wanting Al Soudani removed from a residence in Pierceton.
According to court documents, the woman said she was in bed on May 4 when Al Soudani became angry and allegedly hit her about five times. The deputy noticed red marks and bruising on the woman’s hip and a large bruise on her arm.
Al Soudani has already been arrested and released on his own recognizance.
