WARSAW — The Warsaw Area Career Center Work-Based Learning Banquet was held on Friday, May 17, at The Roost.

The banquet was planned and organized by the work-based learning students to show appreciation to their employers and supervisors for a successful year of on-the-job learning.

The annual event was held for the full-year Agriculture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Healthcare, and IT interns and their supervisors. The annual Work-Based Learning Banquet is planned each year by the students who publish the invitation and event program, decorate the tables, design certificates for their employers, and greet at the event.

With input from the classroom instructors, employers were able to nominate students for the work-based learning programs top awards: Student of the Year, Excellence, Professional Growth, and Positive Attitude.

The Warsaw Area Career Center Work-Based Learning Program partnered with the following businesses this school year:

  • Molly Kissling, the Warsaw Area Career Center Work-Based Learning Student of the Year, left, poses with Lauren Klusman, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, where Kissling completed an internship in her business pathway.
