TIPPECANOE — One motorcyclist is dead following a single vehicle accident.
At approximately 1:08 p.m. Friday, May 24, Marshall County Deputies responded to the area of Fir Road and 19B for a single motorcycle accident.
Upon investigation it was determined that Gary Miller 73, Tippecanoe, had been riding his 2003 Harley XL8 north on Fir Road. For an unknown reason, Miller lost control of the motorcycle causing him to fall from the motorcycle and strike the roadway. Miller was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Argos Police Department, Argos EMS, and Lutheran EMS.
