WARSAW — The Juneteenth Community, in partnership with Count US IN, will present their first Juneteenth celebration, free for all Kosciusko County and surrounding communities!

The event will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Warsaw Community Senior Center, 800 N. Park Ave. This vibrant celebration will commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. There is so much to learn and appreciate in the freedom and unity all enjoy from the community.

Featuring keynote speaker, Jalyn Radziminski, founder and CEO of Count US IN, who will be speaking about Black Disability voting right. Kosciusko County’s very own, Queenetta Young will present what Juneteenth means for the families who call Indiana home.

Join others for food and entertainment, provided by Church of God Youth Group, with activities for all ages.

This event is open to the public and all are welcome.
