ALBION — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of SR 9 in Albion for railroad construction.
Starting on or after June 17, CSX will rebuild the crossing between Railroad Street and Weber Road. Work is expected to last for two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of SR 8, SR 3, SR 205, US 33 and SR 9, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
