Help Warsaw Choose Where To Spend Brownfield Grant

News Release

WARSAW — The city of Warsaw and Kosciusko County are part of a regional coalition that is receiving $1.5 million to assess potentially contaminated properties.

The public is invited to join city staff and the Michiana Area Council of Governments for a brownfield open house from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 17, at City Hall in downtown Warsaw, before the Common Council meeting.

The city is seeking feedback on priority sites to target for blight elimination and redevelopment.

Focus areas include downtown Warsaw, the Winona Avenue corridor and Tinkey Oil.

If you can’t make it to the meeting, you are welcome to take an online survey that can be found at https://tiny.cc/WarsawPublicSurvey2024.
